nalysis, preliminary, and detailed design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures. Bridge Assessment, Rehabilitation studies, Seismic analysis, Vibration analysis, Fatigue check, FE analysis, and additional specialized analysis as per requirements of the projects.

he position will also involve internal client liaison, assisting in preparing fee proposals, and financial control of projects when acting as a package project manager. It represents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate. The position will report to the Canadian CRC Bridge Team Manager.

esponsible for ensuring the projects are delivered to budget, program, and technical standards and meet QC/QA, Sustainability, and HSE requirements
M
entoring team members toward professional accreditation or equivalent
E
nsuring that the Business Management System (BMS) is implemented and maintained in all the projects/tasks

nsure process and governance such that all projects comply with Health and Safety, CDM, and Quality Assurance Standards.
C
arry out audits of adherence to WSP India Management and Quality processes and implement corrective measures where required

ssential skills
Y
ou will have substantial postgraduate (or equivalent) experience and either have been awarded professional engineer status in Canada or have equivalent international qualifications;
Y
ou should be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of and experience in bridge and related structural design as well as a wide knowledge of the Transportation Industry;
T
echnical proficiency with finite element programming/software such as CSIBridge, Sofistik, and MIDAS Civil.
S
olid understanding of Transportation standards and design practices for the provinces of BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, and Ontario are an asset.

xcellent communication, internal client handling, interpersonal skills, and listening skills with the ability to influence and interact with people.

xpertise in technical writing, document review, and leadership of inspection teams;

bility to estimate design level of effort, meet milestone schedule deliverables, etc.;

ou will be experienced in delivering design solutions fully compliant with appropriate codes of practice and specifications and be prepared to gain a thorough understanding of the relevant CHBDC, AASHTO, and Euro codes such as the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, and Local Authority Design Guides. You will be well-versed in the preparation of drawings for legal adoption and technical approvals and contract Documents.

ou will need to have good written and spoken communication skills and be aware of current and emerging technical and planning guidance on climate change and sustainability.

ou will have a good knowledge of planning, design, design software, technical consents, and contract procedures for the provision of bridges, highways, and utilities in new developments and regeneration projects and know, how, if applied effectively, these skills combine to add value to a client's development proposal. You will also have a robust knowledge of the financial and contractual aspects of planning, bidding, and delivering both large and small projects.

xperience from a consultancy or government agency design background with a proven record in excellent technical delivery and team leadership.
