onducting code compliant design of structural components in order to mitigate blast and direct impact threats.

nterpret and coordinate blast requirements based on Security reports.

ontribute to the R&D activities of the Advanced Structural Analysis Engineering team.

ttend client meetings as / when required.

roduction of reports and presentations.

ollaborate with structural / security / facade engineering teams as / when required, both external and internal to WSP.
M

andatory skills:
E

xperience with dynamic structural analysis and conventional structural engineering principles.
B

asic understanding of FEA principles and applications to structural analysis.
U

nderstanding of design requirements for extreme loading conditions.
E

xperience in usage of various CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

ood multi-tasking ability, prioritisation of workflow and time management skills.
A

ptitude for learning / developing new skills and tools.

ood written and verbal communication skills in English.


S
cripting/programming proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB.

xperience working with blast protection standards such as ASCE 59-22 or ISO 16933.

xperience with pre-processing software such as Hypermesh.

nowledge of detailing structural design and its relevance to blast engineering.

nowledge of best practice for niche blast design requirements.

xperience with Viper::Blast for blast loading simulations.
E

xperience with FEA software such as Abaqus and/or ETABS.
