Role Description

As a Tableau Developer you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights. You will work closely with our data analysis team to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your key responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable Tableau dashboards and reports that meet the analytical needs of various business units Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Tableau reports and dashboards Perform data cleansing and preparation to ensure accuracy and reliability of visualizations Implement data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability of dashboards. Conduct user training sessions to promote effective use of Tableau tools Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data visualization

Your skills and experience

Required:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations Fundamental understanding of SQL and relational databases Experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that drive business insights Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience with data modeling and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity in reporting

Preferred:

Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, QlikView Experience with programming languages such as Python Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Exposure to Agile methodologies Knowledge of data governance best practices and data quality frameworks Certifications related to Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) are an advantage

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:

Deep expertise in Tableau, including server architecture and administration Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. Experience with data cleaning tools and techniques Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions is a plus
