Job Description

Responsible for the design and engineering of fire protection systems including sprinkler, fire hose, gas extinguisher, and water mist systems for pharmaceutical / chemical / MFCG facilities. The role involves conceptual and basic design, equipment selection, procurement support, and providing technical assistance through design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare conceptual and basic designs for fire protection systems. Design and develop sprinkler, fire hose, gas suppression, and water mist systems. Prepare datasheets, specifications, and support procurement activities. Ensure compliance with NFPA, FM data sheets, and relevant fire safety standards. Coordinate with global experts and multi-disciplinary teams. Provide technical support during detail design, installation, and commissioning. Maintain design quality and support client interactions.

Requirements

Bachelor//'s degree in firefighting, mechanical, or related engineering discipline. 5-10+ years of firefighting system design experience in EPC/design consultancy or MNCs. Proficiency in CAD, MS Office, and fire protection design tools. Strong knowledge of NFPA, FM, and related codes. Prior experience in pharmaceutical / chemical / fmcg or large industrial facilities preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work under pressure and travel overseas when required.
