Job Summary Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise. Core Responsibilities : Active reporting, analysis and action based on report outcomes Develop reporting strategies for desktop software Maintain software entitlements in SAM tool (Snow Licence Manager) Manage and respond to end user software requests via service desk (ServiceNow) and identify process improvements Manage new software request process and communications for non-catalogue software items and identify process improvements BAU Software Asset Management responsibilities Queue & Mailbox Management License Reviews Point of contact for software, hardware and digital assets queries from internal stakeholders Daily reporting on Incidents, Requests, License allocation, JML Process. Employees at all levels are expected to: Proven minimum three years\' experience in a similar role Software licence experience with tier 1 publishers such as Oracle, Microsoft Software licence expertise with tier 2 publishers such as Adobe, Quest Hands on experience with Snow Licence Manager Self-motivated and able to take responsibility and ownership of a problem through to resolution Awareness of IT hardware, software and services from suppliers Good written and verbal communication, with both end users and department leads Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc) Stakeholder engagement and management Nice to have: Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge in building reporting using PowerBI and/or Tableau Knowledge of admin portals, SaaS applications Experience: 5.5 years to 7.5 Years Location: Thoraipakkam, Chennai Disclaimer: This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
