• Have passion to design, build and polish great, simple, fun mobile applications.
• Be driven to succeed & be self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision or hand-holding.
• Be comfortable working independently and owning a project from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge on Android SDK, Android Studio and Gradle.
• Good understanding on Core Java + Android.
• Good understanding on MVP, MVVM patterns and architecture.
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN etc) and peer code-reviews (required).
• 5+ years of Android OS programming experience.
• RX Java, Dagger1/Dagger2.
• Implementing Push Notifications through GCM/Firebase.
• Web services integration using REST (or) JSON (or) XML.
• Good understanding on Networking libraries like Retrofit, OKHttp.
• Data handing using SQLite database, Preferences.
• Experience with consumer facing UI development.
• Self-starter, hands on attitude.
• Love for writing huge amounts of high quality code while shipping insanely great apps.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Kotlin experience and knowledge of Android architecture components is a plus
• Experience in C# .net and spring boot java API is a plus.
