Job Description

The Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will lead E&I and automation scope for modular and turnkey pharma manufacturing projects, supporting cleanroom, utility, and process systems in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead instrumentation and automation engineering for pharma module / cleanroom-based projects. Prepare and review instrumentation design documents, specifications, wiring diagrams, and panel GA drawings. Select instruments based on process requirements, GMP standards, and site conditions. Configure, integrate, and support

DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems

, including network architecture. Develop control logic, interlocks, and

Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)

in line with

IEC 61511

. Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams (Process, Mechanical, QA, Validation). Support

FAT, SAT, commissioning

, and site acceptance activities for modular systems. Ensure compliance with

IEC, ISA, API

, and relevant pharma regulatory expectations. Review vendor drawings and ensure alignment with project standards and modular design philosophy. Prepare technical documentation, maintain databases, and resolve E&I issues during execution. Lead teams and drive

cross-functional coordination

to meet project timelines and quality targets.

Candidate Profile

10-15 years of E&I experience in

Pharma / Biopharma / FMCG

manufacturing projects. Strong exposure to

modular pharma plants, cleanrooms, utilities, and automation systems

. Proven ability to handle multiple projects in fast-track engineering environments. * Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
