Job Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer - Low Voltage will be responsible for the design, engineering, and execution of LV electrical systems for process industry projects. The role involves detailed design of LT panels, MCCs, iMCCs, and control panels, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineering of

LT panels, main switchboards, MCCs, iMCCs, and control panels

for process plants. Work with various electrical starters such as

DOL, Star-Delta, R-DOL, VFD

, and soft starters. Prepare and review

GA drawings, single line diagrams (SLD), power & control wiring diagrams, and PLC loop diagrams

using

AutoCAD and EPLAN P8

. Select LV switchgear components, main disconnects, protection devices, and perform

control panel size optimization

. Prepare

Bill of Materials (BOM)

, cable schedules, and technical documentation. Generate engineering reports and documentation using

EPLAN P8

. Review vendor drawings and technical submittals; coordinate with

multi-disciplinary teams

(process, instrumentation, automation, mechanical). Lead technical discussions with customers for

drawing reviews, clarifications, and approvals

. Handle and lead

multiple projects

, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 10-15 years of experience in

process industry electrical engineering

, preferably Pharma, FMCG, Chemicals, or Biopharma. Strong hands-on experience in

LV panel design and engineering

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD and EPLAN P8

. * Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
