As a systems engineer, you will be a part of the water systems team; it\xe2\x80\x99s an R&D team that resides in the Renal care business unit. Within the team we manage four different water systems on the field (CWP 60, CWP 100, CWP 800 and WRO 300H). It is a global team with R&D system engineers in Bangalore as well as in Lund (Sweden) and stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality and Regulatory in Italy and USA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Embrace accountability for technical deliverables that are a part of larger projects
• Apply creative thinking to resolve issues
• Contribute to design concepts and research methodologies that meet current and future customer & business needs
• Build an understanding of user needs to provide meaningful input to product sustaining process
• Drive solutions to technical problems utilizing engineering tools (e.g. DFSS, FMEA, DoE, Statistical data analysis, etc.)
• Apply life cycle management principles within sustaining engineering phase
• Develop awareness of FDA, ISO and IEC design control procedures, regulations and standards within area of responsibility

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong drive and with a flair for problem solving. You should have an open mindset, be curious and always seek to expand your knowledge base.

• Relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• Approximately 5 years of experience from R&D, preferably in Medical Device industry or similar
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Valuable skillsets can include:

• Knowledge of water purification technologies
• Experience from working in an environment that complies to ISO 13485
• Experience with product development lifecycle management (exploratory, new product development or sustaining) including requirements management, risk management, V&V, design transfer to manufacturing, and/or change management.
