We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Energy Auditor - Sourcing professional to join our sustainability and facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive energy audits, evaluating HVAC systems, analyzing energy data, and identifying efficiency improvement opportunities. This role combines technical expertise in energy systems with strong analytical and communication skills to drive sustainable sourcing initiatives and energy optimization strategies across operations.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

  • Energy Audits:
Conduct detailed energy audits across facilities and sites to assess current energy consumption, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-effective energy-saving solutions. * HVAC System Evaluation:
Evaluate the performance and efficiency of HVAC systems, including chillers, air-handling units, and ventilation systems. Recommend design, retrofitting, and operational improvements to optimize energy usage. * Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret energy consumption data using advanced tools and techniques. Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting findings, trends, and actionable recommendations to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. * Sourcing & Vendor Collaboration:
Work closely with the sourcing and procurement teams to identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors providing energy-efficient solutions, HVAC equipment, and sustainability services. Ensure all sourcing aligns with corporate sustainability and cost optimization goals. * Sustainability Initiatives:
Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and green building programs. Provide technical input on renewable energy integration, waste reduction, and resource optimization strategies. * Compliance & Standards:
Ensure adherence to local, national, and international energy standards, codes, and sustainability frameworks (such as ASHRAE, LEED, ISO 50001). Maintain documentation and records of audit findings and compliance status. * Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, facility managers, vendors, and clients. Present audit results, technical insights, and energy conservation strategies in a clear and persuasive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in energy management, sustainable sourcing, and HVAC systems. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving long-term energy efficiency goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in energy auditing, sustainability, or HVAC performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), and energy optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience in collecting and analyzing large sets of energy and operational data to identify patterns and opportunities.
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainability frameworks, carbon footprint assessment, and renewable energy applications.
  • Strong vendor management and sourcing coordination skills with a focus on sustainable and cost-effective procurement.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Certification as an Energy Auditor (BEE or equivalent) or LEED accreditation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, energy simulation software, and data visualization tools is an advantage.
