Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the endoscopy room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working condition. Assist doctors and nurses during endoscopic procedures (e.g., gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy). Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all endoscopic instruments and scopes according to infection control protocols. Handle and operate endoscopy equipment such as video processors, light sources, insufflators, suction units, and monitors. Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures under the supervision of medical staff. Document procedure details and maintain accurate records of scope usage, reprocessing, and maintenance logs. Maintain stock of consumables, check expiry dates, and request reorders when necessary. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions or repairs promptly. Follow all hospital policies, including those related to infection control, patient confidentiality, and occupational safety. Assist with training new staff on the operation and care of endoscopy equipment.

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
