Qualification

B.Sc. in Endoscopy Technology, Diploma or Certificate in Endoscopy Technology

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and instruments

Understanding of sterilization and disinfection protocols

Familiarity with infection control and patient safety standards

Basic computer skills for documentation

Ability to work in a team and follow medical instructions

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, etc.).

Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and basic monitoring as directed.

Ensure all necessary instruments, supplies, and medications are available prior to procedures.

Anticipate physician needs during procedures to ensure efficiency and patient safety.
