Qualification & Requirements :

Diploma or certification in Endoscopy Technology, Nursing, or related healthcare field. 6 months of experience in an endoscopy Knowledge of scope handling, disinfection procedures, and biomedical safety. Strong understanding of infection control practices and patient care principles. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

key Responsibilities :

Prepare endoscopy rooms and ensure all equipment is functioning before procedures. Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy). Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopic instruments according to hospital protocols and infection control standards. Maintain accurate records of scope usage, reprocessing logs, and maintenance. Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures and assist in positioning. Manage inventory of endoscopy supplies and notify supervisors of stock requirements. Ensure compliance with all hospital safety protocols, including NABH or JCI standards (if applicable). Support troubleshooting of minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
