Job Description

The Employer Reputation Specialist role will provide process management and operational support in key strategic Mars Employer Reputation initiatives: attraction & Retention activations - Digital, Social Media & Recruitment Marketing: implementation, support and maintenance of key programs

Additional responsibilities include special projects as assigned, and contribution to the Employer Reputation community (e.g., sharing best practices with teammates & stakeholders)

For this specific role, the Employer Reputation Specialist will deploy regional strategies (Europe MEA/India) especially across India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, Kenya & Egypt.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Deploy cross-segment One Mars employer reputation activities which include innovative campaigns, and processes that strengthen and increase the awareness of the Mars employer reputation

Administer and maintain Mars careers webpages for the region in line with global careers page guidelines while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Deploy CRM campaigns to build and Interact with Talent pool

  • Administer and maintain multi-channel social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram,...), digital (Career site, Glassdoor,...), and next generation employer reputation strategies to increase employer reputation awareness and foster a more robust talent pipeline
Create and deploy outstanding recruitment campaigns on social, manage paid media on social channels, measure ROI

Coordinate the routine activities of Employer Reputation operations and create protocols for efficiency

Responsible for running reports against the identified key metrics and make recommendations on areas for improvement to enhance the Mars employer reputation

Managing relationships with Employer Reputation vendors, developing processes and monitoring vendor efficiencies

Create and facilitate streamlined communications to all stakeholders to educate and cascade Employer Reputation information to the region

Main operations you'll run:

Team Leadership
  • Provide guidance to P&O and business leadership on how to best promote the Mars employer reputation
  • Support the project management of local employer reputation initiatives
Employer Reputation Operations
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ideate, schedule and coordinate Employer Reputation activities. Manage logistics including: reputation & branding materials, budgeting, etc.
  • Support & administer development and implementation of best-in-class employer reputation strategies across multiple channels such as digital and print
  • Maintain identified metrics to track employer reputation recognition across all local talent acquisition initiatives
  • Collaborate with Early Talent Specialist(s) to allow them to drive the employer reputation strategy both on-campus and other channels within the early talent space (e.g. Millennials, Gen Z, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing and Recruiting teams to ensure the employer reputation strategy is driving the critical talent pipelines needed
  • Drive internal focus of Mars employer reputation strategy in partnership with Corporate Affairs
  • Attend & participate in events as appropriate
  • Be a Mars Inc. brand ambassador, and champion of the Candidate Experience
  • Create logistic tools as needed for efficiency, including: budget tracker and reporting process, materials needs and tracker, centralized calendars.
  • Create and manage tools and processes to track ROI and to facilitate data collection, integrity, and required action
  • Analyse data and provide recommendations on future participation and budget requirements
  • Administration of the Employer Reputation website - SharePoint and external sites
Vendor Relations
  • Responsible for the identification, development, and maintenance of processes, templates, and materials that are deemed 'best practice'
  • Create and maintain knowledge management
  • Monitor vendor efficiency through data analysis and feedback
  • Identify areas of improvement, provide recommendations for enhancements, and implement approved solutions
  • Budget & Vendor Relations for Employer Reputation: Create purchase orders as appropriate for events and "target" activities and cross-charge as appropriate i.e. segment cross-charges
  • Purchasing card and responsible for administering invoices received as appropriate
  • Completes all assigned and ad hoc reports and keeps all records and files accurate and up-to-date.
Employer Reputation Administration

Coordinating the routine activities of Employer Reputation administration and create protocols for efficiency:
  • Authorized user for CRM, career site, Workday
  • Authorized user for the department purchasing card (P-card) and responsible for administering invoices
  • Preparing purchase orders for goods and services as approved, proactively reconciles statements, and works with Commercial/S&F/Vendor for problem resolution
  • Prioritize vendor and program elements that result in the most productive use of time and resources at the lowest cost, in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Responsible for the facilitation, development & analysis of select reports
  • Track data and create reports to proactively manage budget and ROI measures
  • Develops and maintains other reports as requested by team
