WHO WE ARE
Hunger Inc. is home to The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Bombay Sweet Shop, Veronica's, Papa's, and Enthucutlet. We blend tradition with storytelling to create memorable food experiences. As we scale Bombay Sweet Shop into new markets, the Projects team will drive this growth through design, planning, and on-ground execution.
YOUR TEAM
You will work cross-functionally with managers and teams across all our brands. You'll be designated as Assistant Manager - HR and report to the Head of HR. This role is based out of our Head Office in Lalbaug with regular travel to our outlets to execute the enrichment programs.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Employee Engagement & Experience:
Program Execution + Insights: Design, plan, and execute a wide range of employee engagement initiatives throughout the year and analyze feedback on their success. These will be developed both internally and with support from external partners where required, including but not-limited to, team-building activities, wellness programs, and cultural events.
Performance Management: Administer and roll out the company's performance management programs, ensuring a smooth and effective process for all employees. This includes coordinating goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
Reward & Recognition (R&R): Execute and manage the company's reward and recognition programs, ensuring timely and meaningful recognition of employee contributions.
Internal Communication & Employer Branding:
Internal Communications: Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected. This includes creating content for Kabootar Mail (our newsletter) and conducting quarterly Townhalls across all locations.
Employer Branding: Champion our employer brand internally and externally. Collaborate with the HR Operations to gather data on employee retention and with the recruitment team to create a consistent candidate and employee brand experience.
Content Creation & Social Media: Draft and edit internal communications, success stories, and employee spotlights that highlight our company culture and celebrate employee achievements on the company's careers page and social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR with proven success in designing and driving reward & recognition programs from creation to execution, and executing performance management cycles for different org levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling and professional internal communications.
A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and program design.
Strong organizational and relationship skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and build strong relationships with employees at all levels, demonstrating empathy and an employee-first mindset.
