Job title : Compliance Analyst - Personal Account Dealing Processing

Posting Description:

The Personal Account Dealing Group is a global function within Employee Compliance. The team monitors employees personal trading to safeguard the firm and to prevent employees from trading on, or the appearance of trading on, material non-public information. The PAD team are responsible for conducting yearly employee certification of accounts, reviewing employee trading activity ensuring compliance with pre-clearance requirements and a variety of tasks related to the ongoing maintenance of key processes to adhere to both regulation and the JPMC PAD Policy.

The PAD team is looking for an Analyst who will be part of a team responsible for key daily processes regarding employee trading surveillance, account maintenance and collating key metrics for senior management. The team covers all lines of businesses globally and technology to ensure the firm meets its regulatory requirements as well as effectively adhering to the PAD policy. The role includes opportunities to be involved in global projects to enhance the team\'s efficiency, surveillance methods and technology platforms.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely pre approval and reconciliation of employees personal trades
  • Investigating trading activity which may be a breach of the PAD Policy and escalating to the Investigations team where applicable
  • Maintaining standard operating procedures and undertaking quality controls to evidence process error rates.
  • Support the creation of Internal, External (Regulatory) and Ad-hoc reports, from the PAD strategic platform
  • Collation, analysis and distribution of Operational Metrics / Key Performance Indicators
  • Inquiry management for any employee questions around the JPMC PAD Policy on both email and phone line
  • Operational/Compliance remediation exercises. Project/Change Management Support. Documentation Management
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
  • Qualified graduate with 4 years of relevant experience in Employee Compliance
  • Quality focused work ethic and strong controls mind-se. Adaptable to work in an evolving and changeable environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of conflict resolution
  • Excellent documentation skills to clearly and accurately articulate case disposition
  • Demonstrate skills in risk assessment and the ability to make sound decisions, including escalation when appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively with key internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements are achieved
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with experience in identifying trends/behaviours.
