Responding to Emergency Calls:

EMTs respond to emergency calls, assessing the situation and initiating appropriate medical care.

Patient Assessment:

They assess a patient's condition, identifying the nature and severity of injuries or illnesses.

Providing Emergency Care:

EMTs provide basic life-saving interventions, such as first aid, CPR, and oxygen administration.

Patient Transport:

They transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities, ensuring their safe and comfortable transport.

Communication and Documentation:

EMTs communicate with other healthcare professionals, document patient care, and report observations.

Maintaining Equipment:

They maintain and ensure the readiness of emergency equipment.

Patient Advocacy:

EMTs advocate for the patient's well-being and ensure their care and safety.
