Job Description

Emergency Medical Care

Provide immediate medical attention at the scene of an emergency. Assess patient condition and determine appropriate treatment. Administer CPR, oxygen, and other life-saving interventions.

Patient Transport

Safely transport patients to hospitals or medical facilities. Monitor and care for patients during transport.

Medical Equipment Use

Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment (e.g., defibrillators, stretchers). Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.

Communication

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and bystanders. Relay vital patient information to paramedics, nurses, or physicians. Coordinate with dispatchers and hospital staff.

Documentation

Accurately document patient care reports. Maintain detailed records of treatment provided and patient status.

Scene Safety

Ensure personal and scene safety at all times. Assist in managing crowds and controlling the scene.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with paramedics, police, firefighters, and hospital staff. Follow instructions from higher-level medical personnel.

Continual Readiness

Stay physically and mentally prepared for emergency response. Participate in training, drills, and continuing education.
