Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, resuscitation, trauma care, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
Triage patients based on severity and prioritize care to ensure timely treatment.
Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and support services for effective patient management and referrals.
Interpret laboratory reports, imaging studies, and monitor patient progress continuously.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including medico-legal records.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient safety standards, and emergency care guidelines.
Communicate clearly with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis.
Supervise and guide junior doctors, interns, and emergency staff when required.
Participate in emergency drills, quality improvement activities, and continuous medical education.
