We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Specialist to join our embedded software development team in Coimbatore. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the architecture and design of complex embedded systems, working on challenging projects that impact various industries.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Development and Implementation:

+ Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.
+ Implement and integrate software modules.
+ Follow coding standards and best practices.
+ Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

Technical Leadership:

+ Guide and mentor junior software engineers.
+ Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
+ Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.
+ Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

+ Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams (hardware, testing, etc.).
+ Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
+ Participate in project planning and status meetings.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

6+ years of experience in embedded software development for Automotive, Consumer Electronics or MedTech.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Strong understanding of embedded systems architectures and design principles.

Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C). Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with automotive software development processes (e.g., ASPICE).

Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508). Experience with model-based design and development. * Knowledge of specific microcontroller architectures.
