Embedded Software Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Design and develop embedded software applications with a focus on wireless connectivity and communication protocols. Interface with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Systems, Validation) to ensure end-to-end functionality. Debug software issues and support integration testing. Ensure software is developed following relevant standards (e.g., MISRA) and processes (e.g., ASPICE) Manage code versioning and maintain documentation for software modules. Optimize software for memory and performance across hardware platforms. Develop and implement diagnostics features for real-time monitoring and issue resolution.

M. E / M. Tech

in ECE/EEE/EIEEXPERIENCE

TECHNICAL DETAILS


- Strong programming skills in Embedded C

- Hands-on experience in Wireless Communication protocols: BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE

- Experience working with Embedded Operating Systems: Android, Linux, FreeRTOS

- Familiarity with software coding standards and structured software development processes

- Strong in software debugging, build processes, and version control systems.

- Working knowledge of C++ is an added advantage.

- In-depth understanding of multi-core systems, especially ARM Cortex controllers

- Proficient in one or more communication protocols: CAN, UART, Ethernet, USB, SPI

- Must have experience in Memory Management, including memory allocation, data encryption, and flash memory handling.

- Skilled in socket programming, including scripting and code development for client/server communication.

- Experience with communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, MQTT, FTP, etc.

- Exposure to QUECTEL GSM modules is a plus.

- Capable of developing device diagnostic logics and self-test features
