Job Description

A Field Support Specialist (Electronics Service) is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for electronic equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, implementing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices, hardware, and components. Install, configure, and maintain electronic systems and equipment at customer sites. Perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices, hardware, and components. Provide technical support and training to end-users on proper equipment operation and maintenance. Document service reports, issues found, and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues. Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures during field work. Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements in products or processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in field service or technical support roles. Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuit boards, and diagnostic tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.

Work Environment:

Primarily field-based with regular travel to customer sites.
