Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Embedded QA Engineer - Level 1

to join our team. The role involves testing embedded software, hardware, and system integrations to ensure product reliability, performance, and compliance with requirements. This is an entry-level role, suitable for freshers or engineers with limited experience who are eager to build a career in embedded systems testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

manual and automated testing

of embedded software and hardware. Create, review, and execute

test plans, test cases, and test scripts

based on product requirements. Validate

firmware, drivers, and board-level functionality

. Conduct

functional, regression, and integration testing

for embedded systems. Record, track, and document test results, bugs, and performance issues. Work closely with developers and hardware engineers to

identify and isolate defects

. Verify compliance with

industry standards and safety regulations

. Support

test automation framework development

and maintain test environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma

in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or related field. Basic understanding of

embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware testing

. Familiarity with

C/C++ programming

and scripting languages (Python preferred). Knowledge of

oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers

(basic usage). Understanding of

SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies

. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have (Optional):

Exposure to

automation frameworks

(PyTest, Robot Framework). Familiarity with

communication protocols

(UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus). Experience with

version control tools

(Git) and bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla). Knowledge of

real-time operating systems (RTOS)

basics.

Soft Skills:

Quick learner with eagerness to grow in embedded QA. Attention to detail and analytical mindset. Ability to work in a team as well as independently. Time management and multitasking skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹155,000.09 - ₹600,000.00 per year
