Key Accountabilities
Responsible for designing embedded hardware products including architecture definition, detail design, and verification
Proven success with end-to-end hardware development including schematic capture, layout, bring-up, testing, and debugging of high-density, high-speed PCBs
Collaborate with other teams such as firmware, mechanical, and application for overall aspects of product design and development experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, and other embedded components.
Conduct hardware testing and debugging to ensure proper functionality and reliability.
Manage the entire hardware development cycle, from concept to production, including component selection, prototyping, and testing.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability of hardware solutions and identify potential issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, bill of materials, and user manuals.
Perform signal-integrity analysis and verification of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, and USB, using high-speed lab instruments
To work alongside the program manager and company leadership on key product deliverables and timelines
Responsible for Developing Schedules, Time Estimating, Cost Estimating, Planning and Defining Scope, Documentation, Creating Charts and Schedules, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks and Issues, Monitoring and Reporting Progress
Qualification and Skills
BE/ME in Electronics Engineering.
3-5 years of work experience in Electronics Engineering (Embedded Systems).
Exceptional experience in Circuit design, simulation, PCB design using Altium tool (preferred), manufacturing, and testing experience for embedded hardware.
Exceptional hands-on skills in circuit assembly: Through-hole and SMD.
Past experience working with and integrating expensive, high-resolution sensors.
Past experience manufacturing and shipping embedded hardware products.
Past experience working with IoT Devices.
Strong electrical and computer engineering fundamentals - Analog and Digital Circuits.
High energy, optimistic candidate.
Know-how with hardware interfaces, including RTC, SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RS485.
Knowledge of wireless technology such as WIFI, Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS, 4G, NBIOT, Zigbee, NBIOT etc.
Experience of Power supply- SMPS design, DC/DC converter, LDOs
Experience in low-power circuit design, knowledge of battery management i.e. battery charging and monitoring design.
Experience in using electronic measurement equipment to perform circuit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Strong competency in communication and organizational skills to manage relationships with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Excellent capability of Team Leadership and Management of Resources.
