Embedded Engineer II (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)

Description

+ Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
+ Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
+ Subject matter expert

on Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.

+ Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
+ Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
+ Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
+ Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
+ Work with cross

functional agile teams

located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
+ 2 to 3 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
+ 2 years' Experience with Object Oriented programming

Python Scripting and LabView

Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.

- Experience with software management tools (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
- Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
- Preferred - Embedded Product Testing Experience (

- Preferred - Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation
- Preferred - Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
