Primary Purpose of the Role
This position is for a highly motivated individual who will lead a team of software developers working on Security Gateway for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. You will join our Engineering Competence Center at Bangalore, and will be responsible to lead the software design, development and testing activities in this domain based on the project requirements coming from a Business Line. You will interface with Systems, project and quality teams, and be responsible for meeting the QCD commitments as per the project needs.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Technical Leadership of a software team developing Embedded Security Gateway for connectivity with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Responsible for software deliverables such as software requirement specifications, software architecture & design documents, test procedures and test cases
Work closely with System Engineers to understand the system requirements and translate them into clear software requirements.
Lead and/or participate in technical reviews, SW phase reviews, gate reviews, quality and safety reviews.
Interface with Software Architect and take a lead in software design & development activities
Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team located internationally
Maintain integrity and work ethics within the team
Skills Required
Experience level- 5years to 8years
Proficient in C-language
Sound knowledge of Design Patterns
Exposure to complete Software Development Life Cycle (software requirement writing and coding experience is a must)
Knowledge of communication protocols (ARINC-429) and Networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP)
Experience in aerospace domain - DO-178C standards and processes
Knowledge of configuration management and CI/CD tools \xe2\x80\x93 git/Jenkins/JIRA
Good to have skills
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (SAL levels) and certification
Working knowledge of firewall policies, state machine
Knowledge of ARINC-702, ARINC-739 avionics protocols
Educational Qualification
Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication or equivalent
