Key Responsibilities
Design and implement
cybersecurity solutions for automotive ECUs
Perform
Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
for vehicle systems
Develop and integrate
Secure Boot
, secure firmware update, and secure storage solutions
Implement
cryptographic algorithms
including AES, RSA, ECC, and PKI-based authentication (X.509 certificates)
Work on
CAN, UDS
, and vehicle communication security
Ensure compliance with
ISO 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity)
and
ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
Conduct
vulnerability assessments
, security testing, and mitigation planning
Support
secure flash partitioning
for key and certificate storage
Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) using
OpenSSL on Linux
for encryption, signing, and authentication
Collaborate with software, hardware, telematics, and system engineering teams
Review architecture and design documents from a security perspective
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices
