We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Embedded C++, QT Developer (Team Leader) to join our award-winning company and to work within an agile global business which promotes portable assistive technology that enhances neurodivergent lives.

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (10.00am to 6.00pm) plus joining bonus.

Scanning Pens is one of the largest suppliers of portable text to speech in the world and represents many of the leading manufacturers of this type of technology. Scanning Pens Inc provides reading aids for those with Special Educational Needs (such as dyslexia or English as a second language), any knowledge in these areas would be desirable. We are a passionate group of people working to build a world-class team to roll out our vision of how these tools can change lives. Requirements

• Good knowledge in any one of the embedded RTOS
• Very good experience in C++ (5 to 9 years)
• OOPS Programming languages C++
• Embedded GUI Development QT or similar
• Hands-on experience in wireless/ethernet communication
• Good experience in QT/QML
• UI Coding, QML data bindings, Model View in QT Quick, Multi-threading in QT, QT Creator IDE
• Knowledge of Linux, Linux Shell commands, Debugging skill
• Firmware Refactoring experience will be a value add
