performance-driven and customer-focused Email Marketing Executive
to lead and execute multi-channel retention campaigns, with a focus on
email, WhatsApp, push notifications
, and customer lifecycle strategies.
Your goal will be to
increase repeat purchases, reduce churn
, and
maximize customer lifetime value (CLTV)
through personalized, automated, and data-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute
retention-focused email, WhatsApp, and push notification campaigns.
Develop
automated workflows
and trigger-based communications based on customer behavior (e.g. abandoned cart, inactivity, post-purchase).
Segment customers based on lifecycle stage, engagement level, purchase history, and preferences.
Launch and optimize
WhatsApp marketing flows
for re-engagement and promotions.
Collaborate with content and design teams to create compelling, conversion-focused messages.
Analyze campaign performance (CTR, open rate, CVR, churn, repeat rate) and optimize accordingly.
Implement
A/B tests
on subject lines, creative, and timing to drive better engagement.
Monitor and work to
reduce churn
and
increase customer retention
using win-back strategies.
Partner with growth, product, and CRM teams to align on goals and drive cohesive campaigns.
Generate insights to support strategies for increasing
Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV)
.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in
email and retention marketing
or similar role.
Hands-on experience with tools like
Klaviyo, MoEngage, Clevertap, WebEngage, or similar
for email, push, and WhatsApp campaigns.
Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and personalization.
Strong knowledge of
churn reduction strategies
and customer journey mapping.
Analytical mindset with experience in campaign reporting and performance optimization.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in
eCommerce
, D2C, or app-based businesses.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with
marketing automation
and customer journey orchestration tools.
Knowledge of
CAN-SPAM, GDPR
, and WhatsApp Business messaging compliance.
Experience working with loyalty or referral programs.
