As we scale our D2C operations, we're expanding our lifecycle marketing team to enhance our Klaviyo ecosystem and improve customer engagement, retention, and conversion.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled
Email Marketing Assistant
with expert-level knowledge of
Klaviyo
, strong experience in e-commerce lifecycle marketing, and the ability to support creative direction for design and copy.
This role will assist in building high-performing flows, campaigns, and customer journeys for Super Speciosa. You must have a strong eye for visual design, understand conversion-driven copy, and be comfortable working within fast-paced e-commerce operations.
Experience working with

, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.

Requirements
Klaviyo Email & SMS Execution
Build, update, and optimize automated flows including:
+ Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Checkout Abandonment
+ Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase
+ Winback, Upsell/Cross-sell
+ Sunset, Re-Engagement, Birthday flows Create and deploy high-converting email campaigns and newsletters
Set up A/B tests (subject lines, CTAs, creative, segmentation, send times)
Manage and improve Klaviyo + Shopify syncing, data integrity, and integrations
Segmentation, Data & List Health
Build precise segmentation for targeted campaigns
Conduct list cleaning, suppression management, and deliverability optimization
Monitor performance metrics: open rates, CTR, revenue attribution, deliverability
Design & Creative Direction
Ensure mobile-first design, responsive layouts, and clean visual hierarchy
Provide design direction to the graphic designer for campaigns or templates
Edit and refine email copy for clarity, grammar, tone, and conversion logic
(You do not need to be a designer or copywriter, but must have strong creative judgment.)
E-Commerce & Cross-Channel Support
Assist with Shopify-related email tasks, product updates, and tagging
Coordinate email + SMS marketing strategy for cohesive messaging
Support customer review automation (Yotpo, Judge.me, etc.) and loyalty/referral flows
Assist with basic administrative tasks: documentation, scheduling, product updates
Collaborate with social and paid ads teams to align messaging across channels
Requirements
Be available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
2+ years of Klaviyo experience
(flows, campaigns, segmentation, automations)
Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and customer journeys
Proficiency in email template builders (Klaviyo, Canva, Figma, or similar)
Strong eye for design and layout; able to guide designers with clarity
Ability to edit copy for tone, clarity, and conversion optimization
Experience with
Shopify
and e-commerce best practices
Strong analytical skills (reading dashboards, interpreting data, optimizing flows)
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and work within a fast-moving team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
supplement, wellness, or regulated D2C brands
Experience with Yotpo integration, review automation, loyalty flows
Understanding of SMS platforms (Klaviyo SMS, Postscript, Attentive, etc.)
Familiarity with Mailchimp, Omnisend, or other ESP migrations
Understanding of sales funnels, CLTV strategies, and revenue optimization
Experience coordinating with marketing, design, and content teams
