Job Title:

Senior Elevator Technician

Job Summary:

The Senior Elevator Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems. This role requires technical expertise and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The senior technician also provides mentorship and guidance to junior staff and ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshooting and repair elevator systems. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues. Perform safety tests and code compliance checks according to industry standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines. Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-call support as needed. Knowledge of different brands of elevators and drives will be added advantage.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical certification (vocational training in electrical or engineering preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in elevator maintenance. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, control circuits, and safety devices. Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. Exposure to heights, electrical systems, and moving mechanical parts. May require travel to multiple job sites

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
