1. Job Purpose:
To carry out installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hydraulic elevator systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth operation at customer sites. The role requires technical expertise in hydraulic mechanisms, controls, and maintenance practices.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission hydraulic elevator systems as per company standards and design specifications.
Inspect hydraulic components including pumps, valves, reservoirs, cylinders, and hoses for wear, leaks, or faults.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance of hydraulic systems to avoid breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including electrical and control integration.
Ensure proper alignment and pressure calibration during installation and servicing.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with site-specific and statutory guidelines.
Coordinate with the design and installation teams to interpret hydraulic schematics and layout drawings.
Maintain service records, installation checklists, and documentation of repairs.
Respond promptly to client concerns and service requests regarding hydraulic elevator issues.
Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new hydraulic technologies and products.
Support team members in multi-lift installations and coordinate with civil/electrical teams when needed.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
Number of successful installations and service closures without rework
First-time fix rate and service resolution time
Customer satisfaction score for hydraulic lift servicing
Compliance with safety and documentation protocols
Number of service calls or escalations handled within defined SLA
4. Qualifications & Skills:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certification
2-5 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic lift installation or maintenance
Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pressure systems, and electrical basics
Familiarity with safety equipment, PPE, and technical service tools
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and control diagrams
Basic communication skills to interact with team members and clients
