Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Electrician

with expertise in

LED lighting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing energy-efficient lighting upgrades, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, and delivering quality service in commercial, residential, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair

LED lighting systems

and related electrical components. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and lighting layouts. Perform site surveys and assess lighting requirements or retrofitting needs. Conduct wiring, mounting, and connection of LED fixtures, drivers, and controls. Test lighting systems for proper functionality and ensure optimal performance. Adhere to

local electrical codes

OSHA safety standards

, and project specifications. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other technicians on installations and upgrades. Diagnose and resolve electrical or control issues in existing LED systems. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Electrician License or Certification (e.g., Journeyman, Master Electrician - depending on local regulations) Proven experience in

LED lighting

installation and maintenance Familiarity with

smart lighting systems

, motion sensors, and dimming controls is a plus Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures Ability to work independently or in a team and meet project deadlines Physical ability to work at heights, on ladders, or in confined spaces Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of energy-efficient lighting design Experience with

lighting control systems

(e.g., DALI, 0-10V, DMX) Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) Basic knowledge of low-voltage systems

Working Conditions:

May require travel to different project sites May include after-hours or weekend work depending on project schedules
