Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. This role involves implementing curriculum standards, managing classroom behaviour, and promoting the social and emotional development of students.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the educational needs of all students. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary. Foster a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance educational experiences. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications

A degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Early Childhood Education preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated experience in behaviour management techniques within an educational setting. A genuine passion for educating young learners and fostering their development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A commitment to continuous professional growth and development in teaching practices.
