We are looking for an
Elementary Facilitator
who is passionate about supporting children through self-directed education (SDE) in a holistic, creative, and inclusive environment. The role requires a nurturing facilitator who believes in freedom, curiosity-driven learning, and collaborative growth.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate
self-directed education (SDE)
while maintaining a holistic, creative, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Implement and support
Project-Based Learning
experiences for learners.
Provide classroom instruction and reinforce learning for individuals and small groups across various academic subjects.
Implement personalised learning plans and behavioural support plans as needed.
Guide students in developing essential life skills and academic competencies, offering scaffolding and support where appropriate.
Review student assessments, study plans, and observations to understand each child's strengths, needs, and learning style.
Design and deliver learning experiences aligned with child development principles and the philosophy of SDE.
Manage day-to-day classroom operations and maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organised learning environment.
Take responsibility for the well-being and emotional safety of learners throughout the school year.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the board in alignment with school goals.
