Job description

What you will do:

In this position your mission will be coating metal objects with a layer of another metal using an electrochemical process. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality and durable finishes on various products.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare and clean metal surfaces for plating by removing grease, dirt, rust, and other contaminants. Set up and operate electroplating equipment according to specifications and work orders. Monitor and adjust electroplating processes to ensure consistent and uniform coating thickness. Maintain and troubleshoot plating baths, including measuring and adjusting chemical concentrations. Inspect plated products for quality, uniformity, and adherence to specifications. Perform maintenance and cleaning of electroplating equipment and work area. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep accurate records of plating processes, parameters, and results. Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements. Work with suppliers to get required materials and parts for the electrolysis cell and stack.
Must Have :

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electroplating or a related field is a plus. 2+ years of experience as an Electroplater or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of electroplating principles, techniques, and equipment. Familiarity with different types of metals and plating solutions. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Salary: Matching industries standards. Holidays: 12 days of customary national/state holidays, 18 days of paid vacation accrued monthly and 12 days of sick leave.
