We are hiring an enthusiastic and technically inclined

Arcade Game Technician

to maintain and repair our collection of amusement games. The ideal candidate possesses a

strong foundational understanding of electronics and troubleshooting

and is eager to apply those skills to a dynamic, fun environment. We are looking for potential, and we are willing to train the right candidate on the specifics of arcade systems.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Repair:

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on various arcade and amusement games, including video games, pinball, and redemption games.

Electronics Application:

Apply basic knowledge of electrical circuits, power components, and wiring to effectively diagnose game faults. This includes using tools like a multimeter to test voltage, continuity, and resistance.

Mechanical Maintenance:

Address physical and mechanical issues, such as cleaning components, replacing damaged parts (e.g., control buttons, joysticks, monitors), and ensuring smooth operation of motors and dispensers.

Component Repair (Trained):

While initial focus is on module-level replacement, the role requires a

willingness to learn

component-level repair (e.g., soldering, PCB diagnostics) under supervision.

Documentation:

Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed to assist with inventory and tracking game performance.

Guest Focus:

Ensure all games are operational, clean, and safe for guests, prioritizing quick turnaround on inoperable machines.
Required Qualifications

Foundational Electronics Knowledge:

Demonstrated understanding of

basic electrical principles

(AC/DC, current, voltage, resistance) and the ability to read simple electrical diagrams or schematics.

Technical Aptitude:

Proven ability to use basic hand tools and electronic testing equipment (like a multimeter) safely and effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to follow logical diagnostic procedures.

Attitude:

Must be a proactive self-starter with a

strong desire to learn

complex, specialized arcade equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, lift components up to 50 lbs, and work flexibly to access game internals.
Preferred Qualifications

Any prior experience in maintenance, repair, or technical troubleshooting, regardless of industry.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
