Key Responsibilities
Perform
manual and machine soldering
of electronic components on PCBs.
Ensure
high-quality solder joints
that meet company and industry standards.
Inspect and test components and assemblies for proper functionality.
Follow
schematics, work instructions, and engineering diagrams
.
Operate soldering irons, soldering stations, and related tools safely.
Troubleshoot assembly issues and carry out
rework/repair
when required.
Maintain an organized workstation and ensure proper handling of components.
Work closely with engineers and production teams for process improvement.
Conduct
visual quality checks
as per production specifications.
Follow all
safety, ESD, and environmental
guidelines.
Qualifications
Diploma in Electronics
or related field.
6 months to 1 year
of soldering/assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of soldering standards (e.g.,
IPC-610
).
Familiarity with basic electronic components and PCB layouts.
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and schematics
.
Experience using basic testing tools (multimeter, continuity tester, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented production environment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience in
SMT soldering
.
Knowledge of
desoldering and rework stations
.
Basic understanding of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
