Job Summary

Helett Enterprises LLP is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Electronics R&D Engineer to support the research, analysis, development, and quality validation of a diverse range of electronic and IoT-enabled products. These include thermal printers, barcode scanners, smart locks, wireless microphones, routers, and smart consumer devices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in chipset research, component-level hardware analysis, product certifications, IoT fundamentals, and product quality checking, along with strong communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Research & Chipset Selection

Research and evaluate suitable MCUs, SoCs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, RFID, and barcode scanning chipsets Analyze and recommend components based on cost, performance, power efficiency, availability, and reliability Evaluate chipset and module suppliers across China, Taiwan, Korea, USA, and India Review and analyze existing and legacy products (H30C, H65C, HT Series, UY Series, etc.) for performance improvement, feature upgrades, and quality enhancement
2. Component & Hardware Analysis

Perform detailed component-level analysis, including: MCU / Processor Power Management ICs Sensors (barcode modules, fingerprint sensors, lock motors, microphone capsules, cameras) Connectivity modules (Wi-Fi, BLE, GSM/LTE, RF) Develop block diagrams, schematics understanding, and component mapping documentation Support hardware redesign initiatives aimed at cost optimization, performance improvement, and product reliability
3. IoT Enablement & Smart Features

Assist in converting conventional electronic devices into IoT-enabled smart products Support system architecture design for: Cloud connectivity Mobile application integration Remote monitoring and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates Coordinate with firmware and software teams to ensure smooth embedded system and IoT integration
4. Certification & Regulatory Compliance

Identify and support applicable product certifications for domestic and international markets, including: BIS (India) FCC (USA) CE (Europe) RoHS SRRC / CCC (China) Assist with certification testing coordination, documentation preparation, and compliance follow-ups Ensure products comply with RF, EMI/EMC, electrical safety, and power standards
5. Product Quality Checking & Validation

Perform quality inspection and functional testing of new and existing products Validate product performance against design specifications and quality standards Identify hardware, firmware, or component-level quality issues and support corrective actions Assist in preparing test reports, quality checklists, and validation documents Support quality verification during sample approval, pilot runs, and production stages
6. Product Segmentation & Market Alignment

Classify products into relevant categories: Consumer Electronics Enterprise / POS Devices Industrial & Smart Security IoT & Smart Home Recommend appropriate feature sets, quality benchmarks, and certification requirements based on target markets and use cases
7. Vendor & Manufacturing Support

Coordinate with ODM/OEM partners and component vendors Support sample validation during EVT, DVT, and PVT stages Assist in mass production readiness, quality audits, and technical issue resolution Support vendor quality evaluations and corrective action follow-ups

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in Electronics R&D, Embedded Systems, or Product Quality Validation Strong fundamentals in electronics hardware design, testing, and embedded systems Exposure to chipsets and platforms such as: ESP32, STM32, Nordic, MediaTek, Rockchip, Realtek, Quectel, SIMCom Working understanding of: Thermal printing technology Barcode scanning modules Smart lock systems and motor control RF, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GSM/LTE technologies Basic knowledge of firmware development (C/C++, RTOS) and debugging

Certification & Compliance Knowledge

Basic to intermediate experience with BIS, CE, FCC, and RoHS Understanding of RF, EMI/EMC, and electrical safety testing procedures

Education

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics

Communication Skills

Good communication in English is mandatory Proficiency in Hindi (spoken and written) is preferred
