Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for an Electronic Products Development Manager, who will be responsible for development and management of engineers in India to perform engineering work-statements for Boeing product life cycle management.

Position Responsibilities:

• This position will work collaboratively with the teams from across the globe in an integrated design environment to help deliver engineering statement of work. The selected individual will develop and handle Engineers, interact with the program leaders from across the globe, with a vision to grow ownership in execution with their team.
• This position will be located in Bangalore, India, and will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Electronic Products Development, India.
• This position will provide project management guidance to and administer multiple projects, develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance standards. This position will develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, suppliers, peers, partners and direct reports to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.
• This position will provide periodic status updates to engineering leadership. This position will require some travel within India and internationally.
• The position requires the candidate to plan upon growing complexity of execution around the work statements, draw upon initiatives to have more inquisitive design techniques and grow value of the product(s) under design in the value chain

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required.
• Experience in the electronics product development lifecycle for sub-systems, comprising of high-speed electronics, High Speed integrated interfaces, VLSI chips interfaces and traceability to design requirements.
• Thorough knowledge in standards such as ARINC818, ARINC825, ARINC664, ARINC429.
• Experience in defining Hardware design lifecycles and its planning documents.
• Experience in After Market Service designs and Test Documentations to Maintain Hardware designs.
• Experience in developing Test Equipment for Hardware designs.
• Experience with standards such as DO-160, DO-254 and Mil-Std-810
• Experience in DFx techniques for product definition, product testing and Manufacturing readiness.
• Knowledge and understanding of technologies, policies and procedures related to engineering of defense related products. Past experience and proven ability to manage aerospace product design & development and certification testing, laboratory and flight test facilities and relevant work-statements.
• Skilled in leading/planning to meet schedules and/or resolve execution issues.
• Technical leadership and Project Management skills to ensure flawless execution of engineering statements of work in India.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in designing and deploying LRUs, inclusive of after market design sustenance activities
• Experience in development of hardware across a product line and work through the long range business plans for the product line.
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time zones.
• Collaboration is important in this position; individual must have strong team building skills. Must have ability to accomplish results through effective collaboration working with all collaborators including colleagues in other parts of Boeing, and suppliers. Ability to work well on virtual teams across multiple time-zones and cultures.
• Communication \xe2\x80\x93 strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work, and connect technology to business considerations (e.g., return on investment). Candidate must be fluent in English, and familiar with MS Office tools.
• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working
• Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.
• Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 to 16 years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+12 years of related work experience etc.).
