We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic & instrumentation
Engineer
with a strong background in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of PLC panels, UPS systems, DG sets, transformers, switchgear (LV/HV), motors, ACBs, battery chargers, earthing systems, cable trays, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
Oversee cable laying, glanding, termination, and scheduling as per design and safety norms.
Install and calibrate field instruments such as pH, conductivity, ORP, turbidity meters, flow/pressure/level transmitters.
Manage operation of electrical systems including start-up, synchronization, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
Carry out pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of HT/LT motors, transformers, DG sets, switchgear, VFD and control panels.
Ensure electrical safety compliance and conduct periodic electrical audits of WTP/STP facilities.
Track, order, and maintain records of spares, consumables, and critical equipment for uninterrupted operations.
Supervise and monitor contractor activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Participate in client and contractor meetings to resolve technical issues and close out action items.
Maintain daily operation and maintenance records of all electrical equipment.
Prepare and verify contractor bills and support project billing requirements vis a vis electrical work.

Ensure availability of critical and zero-stock spares to avoid downtime.
Resolve electrical design queries, punch lists, and discrepancies between site execution and drawings.
Provide technical expertise in loop checking, calibration, and maintenance of transmitters and panels.
Troubleshoot issues related to VFDs (Delta, Allen Bradley), D.O.L. starters, Star-Delta connections, and AC motor controls.
Implement SOPs and maintenance practices for improving equipment performance and efficiency.
