Build reliable electronic systems that power the future of grassroots cricket.
At CricHeroes, we're building the world's largest cricket network -- and we're taking the game beyond scorecards. Through smart devices, sensors, and connected systems, we're capturing cricket moments and transforming them into meaningful insights for players, coaches, and fans.
We're looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer who can design, build, and bring up production-ready electronic systems. Someone who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle -- from schematic design and PCB layout to embedded integration and on-ground deployment -- while collaborating closely with mechanical and software teams.
The Challange
Design and deliver robust electronic hardware that performs reliably in real-world cricket environments.
You'll work on end-to-end hardware development -- circuit design, component selection, PCB design, microcontroller integration, and production support -- ensuring high reliability, manufacturability, and seamless hardware-firmware integration.
What You'll Do
Electronic Circuit & PCB Design
Design and develop electronic circuits ranging from basic to advanced complexity.
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and component libraries using KiCad (preferred).
Perform circuit simulations, validation, and design reviews to ensure functional and reliable designs.
Component Selection & Hardware Architecture
Select electronic components including passives, ICs, sensors, power devices, MCUs, and communication interfaces.
Research alternate components considering cost, availability, lifecycle, and supply-chain constraints.
Design power supplies, signal conditioning, and protection circuits.
Embedded Systems & Microcontroller Integration
Integrate and interface with microcontrollers and compute modules such as STM32, ESP32, and Atmel/Microchip platforms.
Work closely with firmware teams on pin multiplexing, boot modes, and peripheral configuration.
Support hardware bring-up and debug hardware-firmware interactions.
Testing, Debugging & Reliability
Apply strong logical reasoning and debugging skills during prototype bring-up and issue resolution.
Support prototype testing, validation, and production troubleshooting.
Ensure designs meet reliability, EMI/EMC, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers on enclosure constraints, thermal design, EMI/EMC, and DFM/DFA considerations.
Work with software teams to ensure seamless system-level integration.
Documentation & Version Control
Maintain clear technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and design notes.
Use Git for version control of hardware design files, firmware, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware design and embedded systems.
Strong fundamentals in analog and digital electronics.
Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (KiCad preferred).
Knowledge of communication protocols: IC, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet.
Working knowledge of embedded programming using C, C++, Arduino, and Python.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
