Job Description

The Domain Trainer for Field Technician Computing & Peripherals (FTCP) is responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to DDU-GKY candidates as per National Occupational Standards (NOS), ensuring effective skill development, practical learning, assessment readiness, and placement alignment. The trainer will play a key role in transforming rural youth into skilled, employable professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery

Deliver curriculum-based training for

Field Technician - Computing & Peripherals (FTCP)

as per SSC/NOS standards. Train students in

computer hardware, assembling, troubleshooting, networking basics, operating systems, peripherals, and field service techniques

. Conduct

practical sessions, demonstrations, labs, and hands-on activities

to ensure skill competency. Maintain

daily training records

, lesson plans, and session reports as per DDU-GKY requirements.

Candidate Management & Support

Assess candidates' skill gaps and support them through remedial sessions. Track student attendance, progress, and performance. Motivate and mentor students for

employment readiness, discipline, and soft skill development

. Provide individual guidance for assessment and placement preparation.

Compliance & Documentation

Prepare and update training-related documents including: Lesson plans Daily training logs Assessment checklists Internal evaluation records Practical lab inventory Ensure complete compliance with

DDU-GKY 2.0 guidelines

, SOPs, and audit requirements.

Coordination & Centre Activities

Coordinate with Centre Head, MIS team, and Placement officers. Support mobilization teams by sharing training-related insights. Participate in parent meetings, events, and review sessions. Maintain lab infrastructure, equipment, and training materials.

Assessment & Placement

Prepare students for

SSC assessments

--written, practical, and viva. Conduct internal assessments and mock tests. Assist placement teams to ensure

job readiness

: Technical interview preparation Field technician job role orientation Industry expectations Support post-placement follow-up as required.
