Electronics Design & Service Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Electronics Design & Service Support Engineer

responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electronic hardware products. The role involves

PCB design, component selection, prototyping, testing

, and providing

technical service assistance to customers and field teams

.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectronics Design & PCB Development

Design

schematic diagrams and PCB layouts

using industry-standard EDA tools Select and validate

electronic components

(MCUs, power ICs, sensors, relays, drivers, protection circuits) Design

power supplies, signal conditioning, and communication interfaces

Create

multi-layer PCB layouts

with proper grounding, EMI/EMC considerations Generate

BOM, Gerber files, Pick & Place, and fabrication documents

Support

prototype assembly, bring-up, debugging, and validation testing

Optimize designs for

cost, reliability, manufacturability, and thermal performance

Testing, Debugging & Quality

Perform

board bring-up, functional testing, and fault analysis

Use test equipment such as

multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer

Identify and resolve

hardware failures, component issues, and design flaws

Assist in

certification readiness

(EMI/EMC, safety) where applicable
Service & Technical Support

Provide

technical service assistance

to customers, installers, and internal teams Troubleshoot

field issues, failures, and installation problems

via phone or remote support Analyze returned products (RMA) and suggest

corrective actions

Prepare

service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and repair procedures

Work closely with production and design teams to improve

product reliability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with

firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams

Support

pre-sales technical queries

when required Assist in

vendor coordination and component sourcing decisions

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

Strong knowledge of

analog and digital electronics

Hands-on experience in

PCB schematic and layout design

In-depth understanding of

electronic components and datasheets

Knowledge of

power electronics, protection circuits, and interfaces

UART, SPI, IC, RS485, CAN, Ethernet (as applicable) Familiarity with

DFM, DFA, and DFT principles

Tools & Software

PCB design tools:

Altium / KiCad / Eagle / EasyEDA

(any one) Debugging tools:

Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer

Basic understanding of

firmware interaction

is a plus
Support & Communication Skills

Strong

problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to explain technical issues

clearly to non-technical customers

Comfortable handling

service calls and customer interactions

Experience

1-5 years

of experience in electronics design, PCB development, or hardware engineering Experience in

consumer electronics, IoT, power electronics, or automation products

preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
