Job Description

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Electronics Engineer will be responsible for developing assigned electronic projects and supporting related activities in electronic development for CAMECA's India operations.
Responsibilities:
The Electronics Engineer is responsible for:

• Design and develop electronic systems (specifications, justifications, diagrams) for digital and analog systems
• Provide production support as required
• Analyze and process modification requests
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to set priorities
• Collaborate with other engineers to review and validate project files and change requests
• Analyze recurring issues and propose solutions
• Manage and direct the flow of incoming technical requests
• Ensure resolution and documentation of change requests
• Prepare weekly activity reports as needed

Requirements:

• Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized Indian university; M.E./M.Tech preferred
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics design and development (for engineers); Diploma holders with 5+ years' experience may also be considered for junior roles
• Proven track record in designing and manufacturing high-speed analog and digital electronics
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and supporting production/service teams in a high-tech environment
• Professionnal knowledge & abilities:

• Fluent in English
• Strong technical understanding of electronics
• Analytical and diagnostic skills
• Curiosity for emerging technologies
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
• Proactive, rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is a plus
• Demonstrates respect for diversity and inclusion in a multicultural workplace
• Willingness to collaborate across global teams (France, India, etc.)

• Product Focus: Electronics systems for scientific instrumentation
