Job Description

An Electronics Testing Engineer verifies and validates electronic products, systems, and components using specialized tools (like oscilloscopes, multimeters) and methodologies to ensure they meet performance standards, find bugs, and provide feedback for design improvements and consumer electronics to ensure quality from prototype to production.

Responsibilities:

Develop Test Plans:

Create protocols to check design parameters of boards, assemblies, and systems.

Execute Tests:

Perform functional, performance, and integration testing on hardware and software.

Troubleshoot:

Diagnose and isolate malfunctions to the component level using schematics and diagnostic tools, potentially involving rework or software updates.

Document & Maintain:

Keep detailed test records and maintain lab equipment.

Collaborate:

Work with design engineers to correct errors and improve designs.
Essential Skills & Tools

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of electronics theory, circuit design, schematics, and datasheets.

Testing Equipment:

Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other diagnostic tools.

Troubleshooting:

Ability to perform component-level debugging and soldering.

Standards:

Knowledge of quality standards (like ISO 17025) is often preferred, especially in regulated industries.

Qualifications Required

:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Fresher -2 years of hands-on experience in testing and repairing electronic components Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and component-level fault finding Good soldering skills and ability to handle precision repairs Familiarity with electronic schematics and testing instruments
