Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of our wireless communication products. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production activities and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in electronics and mechanical production procedures. The ability to direct personnel toward maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we\'d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer delivery timelines and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan production activities to improve delivery timelines while maintaining high quality and cost-effectiveness
• Take the lead in fulfilling customer orders and deliveries
• Identify delivery exceptions and provide alternative solutions
• Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems
• Plan for the purchase of equipment & material required to meet the delivery schedule
• Help the team with customs clearance of purchased components and equipment
• Interact with PCB manufacturers and electronics Assembly companies to manufacture product prototypes
• Interact with Contract Manufacturers to set the process and smooth delivery of products to customers
• Field Assistance on the deployment of demonstration products on site
• Work with vendors for material procurement and delivery
• Identify new suppliers and manage existing suppliers to meet the production needs
• Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost
• Active involvement in maintaining inventory
• Research product certification requirements and execute obtaining the same
• Apply for regulatory approvals required to demonstrate products to customers
• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
• Estimate costs and prepare budgets
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Supervise the procurement, inventory, and production engineers
• Report to upper management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a production director
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Understanding of Wirebonding process, high frequency PCB manufacturing is essential
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Outstanding communication ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Attention to details
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• BSc/Ba in business administration or a relevant field is preferred
