Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer with hands-on expertise in

Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)

repair, programming, and servicing. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of VFD systems across multiple brands and a strong background in industrial electronics troubleshooting, field support, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. VFD Repair & Maintenance:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty VFDs (AC Drives) from various manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Danfoss, Delta, Schneider, Allen Bradley, etc.).

Conduct board-level repair and component-level fault detection.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VFDs and related control systems.

2. Programming & Commissioning:

Program, configure, and fine-tune VFDs as per customer and application requirements.

Support field installation and commissioning of drives at customer sites.

Provide technical inputs for drive selection based on application.

3. Customer Service & Site Support:

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.

Attend field service calls to resolve breakdowns, performance issues, and system upgrades.

Ensure timely and professional communication with clients during service visits.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain service reports, technical documentation, and service logs.

Assist in preparing service estimates and job cards.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales, projects, and R&D teams to provide insights and feedback on product performance and customer needs.

Key Skills and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of VFD operation, types, and applications.

Proficient in VFD programming, fault diagnosis, and repair techniques.

Hands-on experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering stations.

Familiarity with electrical panels, control wiring, and automation systems.

Strong understanding of electrical/electronic circuits and power electronics.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and datasheets.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Willingness to travel to client sites for field support.

Educational Qualification:

ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in VFD service, repair, and programming.

Experience with multiple VFD brands and working in industrial environments.
