.?The intern will work under the
Production Manager
to perform in-process quality checks, assist in basic electronic assembly, and troubleshoot electronic components and PCBs. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the manufacturing of precision biomedical products where electronics play a key role in overall device performance.
Key Responsibilities
?Conduct
in-process quality control (QC)
for electronic components and subassemblies. ?Perform
basic soldering, wiring, and assembly
of electronic modules and circuits. ?Support
assembly of biomedical devices
alongside the production team. ?Troubleshoot
minor electronic issues
during the production and testing process. ?Work with
external vendors
for QC verification and inspection of
outsourced PCBs
. ?Assist in maintaining
records and reports
of in-process QC results. ?Follow
safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
protocols during all assembly and testing activities. ?Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure smooth device integration and operation.
Training Provided
All interns will undergo a
3-day onboarding training
covering: ?Overview of biomedical products and their electronic architecture ?Common assembly issues, risks, and troubleshooting ?In-process QC and documentation standards ?Safety, ESD, and handling procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
?Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
Electronics / Electrical Engineering
or related field (final-year students or recent graduates welcome). ?Good understanding of
basic electronics components, circuits, and PCB design
. ?Hands-on experience in
soldering, wiring, and using electronic measuring tools
(e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope). ?Basic troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis ability. ?Eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail, especially for QC processes.
Preferred Skills
?Familiarity with
microcontroller-based systems
or
embedded hardware
. ?Exposure to
PCB fabrication or assembly processes
