Position overview:

ElectroTechincal Engineer will be accountable for all electrical, electronic & general tasks relating to production equipment, auxiliaries & maintenance of the above.

Key responsibilities include:

• To support and adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety working practices at all times
• To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the Maintenance department
• To support production to ensure that quality standards are met in adherence to ISO requirements and remedial action taken where necessary.
• To maintain all electrical appliances and machinery to the ISO Standards.
• Problem solving of electrical processes
• Advising on and maintaining electrical spare parts
• PLC programming as required
• Maintaining electrical Schematics
• Investigating process improvements, carry out new project work, design and installation
• Assist in mechanical maintenance as required
• Perform any other related tasks as required

HOUSEKEEPING

• To perform duties in such a way as to observe and maintain established housekeeping standards
• Return tools, parts and other equipment to appropriate storage
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a tidy and functional state at all times

PRODUCTION

• Perform all tasks relating to operating and maintaining production machines
• Continually seek to optimise production output and quality by way of responding to machine and process electrical and mechanical problems and taking appropriate action
• Participate in Plant continuous improvement activities such as TPM

• To implement a 5S based system to housekeeping within the Maintenance department.

Experience and skills required

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Job related experience for minimum 3 to 6 years in the field
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office , Siemens PLC, SM300/400, Simatic manager/simotion.
• Work collaboratively across departments
• Fluent English
